What Is The Cause For Having Pins And Needles In The Feet?

hi my three year old daughter is having pins and needles in her feet quite regularly no one thing she is doing triggers it . what could this be? doctor has asked for blood test to look at calcium and also urine sample? any advice or suggestions? Thanks kerry

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
These complains might be due to:
-Dietary deficiencies of certain nutrients like Iron,Calcium,Vitamin D,Vitamin B12,Folic acid etc which are necessary in nerve conduction.
-Peripheral neuropathy due to high blood sugar.Test her blood sugar to exclude this diagnosis.

Symptomatic relief can be achieved by intake of Vitamin B6,Vit B12,Folic acid as well as multivitamin and multimineral supplement including iron,Calcium and Vitamin D.

Discuss these options with her pediatrician.
