What Is The Cause For Fever, Cold And Cough?
Dear Doc,
My son is 1 and half year old, his weight is 11 kgs and he had a fever, cold and litle cough since yesterday night. I had visited pediatrician. He has adviced to give him crocin syrup 2.5 ml every 4 hour, and for cold he has been given dextromethorphan and phyenylepineprine combination.
But my son still have fever (102 degress) till now i have given almost 3 doses every 04 hrs. Please suggest if should give him Meftal P

Hi,
It seems that your child might be having viral infection.
It is self limiting and take few days to cure.
Meanwhile continue giving Crocin syrup as and when needed at 4-6 hourly.
Ok and take care.
