If it is a lump which does not move on cough ,not big , change in size , does not cause pain , has no discharge , You have nothing to worry.It could be a benign swelling.However it is important for you to see Pediatrician and get it examined.Examination can give a better idea on what it is.
Please consult Pediatrician for physical examination and Ultrasound if needed.

Hello...I m male, 39, 5 9, 170 lbs. I ve had this lump for about 2 weeks. I can feel it from a couple inches above my belly button to...it feels like, just under the sternum. No real pain, as of yet, just pressure and feels tight. It s right directly in the center. Can you please tell me what this might be?
My son has 1 1/2 inch lump above hisbelly button that is very tender to the touch. A large are on the oUtside of the belly is red. Now his belly button is leaking fluid. He doesn t have internet so I m asking for him . He went to the doctor s yesterday and she said she thinks it s an infection but if it didn t go away in 48 hours to come back. Ok for belly button to leak?
