Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain in case if there is phlegm build up that started with cold then there is a possibility that you have an upper
respiratory tract tract infection also known as
Common cold..
It has led to infection and inflammation of vocal cords leading to
Laryngitis and due to it there is a loss of voice..
You are advised to take antibiotics as there can be superseded bacterial infection..
I would suggest you to start taking antibiotics, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine [Sudafed], mucolytics like
Ambroxol, antiistamined like Levocetrizine, do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
You should suck throat lozenges as it will soothe your throat..
Chew
Vitamin C pellets as it will boost up your immunity..
Sip on plenty of warm water throughout the day..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
