Hello my little sisters bottom of her earlob is swollen and bruised and I touched it and a tun of pus and blood came out. It is still swollen and full of blood and she has no piercing want could this be caused by ? I can also feel it is puffy and full of pus down her jaw bone a bit
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swollen bleeding ear lobe which could be due to ear infection and it could be due to accumulation of ear fluid. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin you are not allergic to it along with Ibuprofen and Loratadine. For now take benadryl twice a day a, keep your ear dry and apply warm compresses to external ear. Put Otogesic ear drops 2-3 times a day. you should take proper rest. Try to avoid excessive use of mobile as it will put more pressure. If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Doctor will examine with otoscope and order CT scan .Get all the lab tests done for proper examination.
