What Is The Cause And Treatment For Soft Spot On Head With Dizziness?

Hi I m 24 yrs old and I have had a soft spot on my head since I was 10 it has grown in size and depth about the size of my palm and it is painful to touch and makes me dizzy and I get frequent severe headaches, I m tired all the time and I get infections easily such as yeast. Any ideas on why?

Hello,

Cause of soft spot on the head is commonly due to dehydration. Since you have a history of having a soft spot when you were a child, it can be due to some congenital issue. Since you are getting dizzy and painful with severe headaches you are suggested to get it clinically examined by a GP or a surgeon to detect any tumor, lipoma, injury or any congenital defect causing you discomfort. Get all blood tests, investigations and imaging tests done. Since you are dizzy, do not do any heavy work or drive. Stay at rest.

To get relieve take plenty of water, ORS, Electrol, etc. Take Vertin-16mg, one SOS when dizzy to relieve discomfort. This will give you symptomatic relief but get diagnosed for the cause and get treated for the pathology causing you discomfort.
