What is the cause and treatment for geographic tongue?
I have a geographic tounge but never have had it till after a abortion I m 22 . I have bad anxiety and bad stress all the time it s gotten way worse since I ve been in my 20 s affecting my daily life.My 5 year old also has geographic tounge but her dad has it. Plus she has terrible allergies right now.Just need an opinion on this.

The geographic tongue can occur secondary to stress, anxiety, nutritional deficiency etc. So nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take nutritional supplements like multivitamins(vitamin B6 and B12). You have to lead a stress free life. Be cool, do not take tension. Consume lot of vegetables and fruits.
