What Is The Cause And Remedy For Swelling In Throat ?

okay so it seems as if though my glands underneath my tounge are swollen from doing meth its progressed fast in the past two days and now im starting to feel my entire throat also swell and the left side of it hurts when i breath or bend my head to the right

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of swelling in throat which could be due to infection of the tonsil or pharynx, ulcer over tonsils, blockage of sinuses and respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. Visit pulmonologist/ ENT specialist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting. You should take green tea on daily basis in morning. Take nasal sprays on daily basis as it will open up sinuses and blood will not be discharged. Take antibiotics along with anti-inflammatory medications. Apply humidifiers in room. Do warm saline gargles and get complete examination of blood count along with swab and sputum test. Start treatment after proper prescription.
