What Is The Blue Bruise And Swelling In My Foot?

I came home last night and noticed a n elongated black and blue mark just above the heel of my left foot. It is not painful.My foot is also swollen. I did take a fall five days ago but I think this unrelated as the bruise suddenly appeared after dinner.

Hi.
As per your complains my advice is-
1. The bluish-black linear mark may be due to some insect-bite.
2. Just take NSAID tab like ibuprofen for swelling and apply calamine lotion on mark.
3. If it doesnot fade in 2 weeks then consult a dermatologist.
