What Is The Best Medicine For Knee Pain After Knee Replacement?

I had knee replacement and was taking Xeralto to prevent blood clots. Stopped taking Xeralto Sunday night. Can I take ultracet 37.5-325mg for pain? I ran out of the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325TB that I was taking. I am still in excruciating pain.
