What Is The Best Medication For Itchy Dry Patches Under Breast, Armpit And Butt Area?

Hello, I have these dry patches under my breast area which spread under my armpit and goes on over the butt area that sometimes itches. This usually happen when I gain weight is because I sweat a lot mostly under the breast which goes over my abdomen. Is there any over the counter cream I could use to help?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to sweat rash.
Bathe or shower in cool water with nondrying soap, then let your skin air-dry instead of toweling off.
Use calamine lotion or cool compresses to calm itchy, irritated skin.
Avoid using creams and ointments that contain petroleum or mineral oil, which can block pores further.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
