What Is The Anti Rabies Vaccination Schedule?

i was bitten by my dog last sept.2 ,,,its my first time to be bitten by a 2months old puppy. doc at day o i went to the hospital and they gave me shots of anti tetenus,tt, and venorab intramuscular,they gave me schedule as follows day o sept.2 day 3 sept.5 day 7 sept.12 day 14 sept.26 and day 28 oct.24.. they advice me to continue my shots at health cnter so day 3 i went for a shot but they shift to intradermal route and back to day 0 again they gave me a schedule starting day 0 sept.5, day 3 sept.8 day 7 sept.12 day 14 unneccessary if the dog is alive then day 28 continue if the dog died... please advice me doc because the schedule they gave is conflicting .thanx a lot

Thank you for query.I think the days are too old to advice you any thing.Usual dates are 0 3 7 14 28 and 90 th day from the day of 1st dose of antirabies vaccine is given.the dosage and sites are different for different routes(intradermal or intramuscular).Usually it is over treated as rabies is 100% fatal.
