What is the Safe sleep position for me because I weigh 184lbs ?
Hello I am 24 year old female that weighs 184lbs 5 0. Is it dangerous to sleep on your left side? I suffer greatly, I ache all over and I cant seem to breathe comfortably on my back...I do suffer from anxiety attacks...so I am highly depressed not being able to sleep soundly because of the tension i feel in my body which way to sleep is best for someone of my body type? Mainly a posution where it doesnt put strain on the heart or lungs. Sometimes its terrifying for me to sleep because I can feel my heart pulse by my neck the front area. I am afraid of putting strain on that area if I move my neck too much...should I be worried? I ask this simply because my body became sensitive since I went through the attacks and often feel in dread I appreciate the advice greatly. I just want to sleep at ease.
Hi,Cynthia, thanks for query. As you know you are obese. This is the reason that you are having problem in sleeping comfortably.First of all start a mission to loose weight.Go for routine medical examination to look for thyroid problem and other things responsible for your weight. You can sleep any position that you are comfortable. No position will cause any problem. When you will loose your weight things will be fine. For panic attacks please take guidance from your doctor.bye.

My Mother is 91 and weighs approx 43 kilos. She has been on Norspan patches for a few years and after seeing another doctor (he doctor was away) he said he would like her to go off nor span as he felt it was to strong for her. She went off it straight away almost a week ago (I think he should have weaned her off the patch) and has had just about all of the symptoms of withdrawall. Until I looked it up on the computer I bought she was going mad. She is not sleeping at all but is so tired that she sits with her head having onto her knees. She has diarrhoea and very restless legs and arms. Can she take a tablet for diarrhoea? and what about getting a sleeping pill?
Hi, I am a 25 year old male and I weigh 89kg. I work out once to twice a week. However, I recently started feeling my legs going to sleep while sitting in a yoga position which did not use to happen. Is it related to a serious health problem? Many thanks,

Does the rocking of a ship increase insomnia in those who have recently had a stroke and exhibit an increased startle reaction? I recently shared a cabin with a stroke victim who claimed she could not sleep all night. What I noticed is that repeatedly in the middle of the night she would suddenly and violently wake up without cause and think I was making noise. She also the week before the trip underwent an invasive procedure endoscopicly to see if she needed a stint placed in her artery. Could she be reacting to that, too? She claimed she slept better once we were in a hotel on land and I got my own cabin. Others in my family report that I am a quiet sleeper, so I believe I am not the cause of her insomnia which has plagued her all her life. A very light sleeper, or is something more serious going on that her doctor needs to know about? Thanks for your answer in advance. Nina Daniel
