What Is Lymphoma And How Can It Be Treated ?

Hi, I am 22 years old and I had 3 lumps removed (one on the right of my pelvis, one on the left of my pelvis, and one on my calf) and the surgeon said he wasn t sure exactly what they were. All he knew was they were pockets of infection. When I had asked him if it was my lymphnoids he told me no. that they were just pockets of infection. Well basically I think he is an idiot and I want another opinion. After the surgery a month ago I was taking a shower and I had noticed I had 2 more lumps on each side again. So when I went in to get my stitches out I brought that up. The surgeon told me it was nothing but swelling from the surgeory. I didn t believe him when he said that because it was obviously lumps. I had my surgeory Feb. 3rd 2011 and it is now March 9th 2011 and I have the lumps still and my right hip had a big lump on it and is really sore from the top of my buttox on the right all the way down through my right hip and it ends in the middle of my femur. Anyways these lumps that I have fell bruised without even touching them. They are underneath the skin . One day before I had my surgeory I was giving my son a bath and I felt burning comming from the right side of my pelvis, I went to go stand up for a second and my pants felt like they were wet right there. I knew my son didn t slpash me so I looked down and sure enough they were wet. So after I got my son out of the bath tub I took a look at it and it was pussing really bad. I mean it was pouring out puss. It did that for a couple of days. This lump was really big. sometimes when it was pussing it would let air out and you could hear it, most of the time when it did that it would bubble. I think the reason why it did that it because my skin was getting so thin and red after a while of having the lumps because it was getting bigger. his lump was about a inch in a half long while the other one was only a peble size. The one on my calf didn t show up until a couple days before my schedualed surgeory and they just went in and removed that one too. Can you please help me. This worries me having these lumps. And I just keep getting more

welcome to healthcaremagic
it is quite unnatural tha you are suffring so much and under treatment even operated on yet no diagnosis reached yet
you have not talked about any investigations /tests done so far
the lumpsif were excised or drained
biopsy of the lumps /culture sensitivity of the pus including culture for tuberculosis should have been done
from the history it seems that you may be having chronic granulomatous infection ,that may be tuberculosis
my suggestion will be get a complete medical check up with the investigations-complete hemogram, chest x-ray,xray spine hip joints and various blood tests as required depending on the findings of clinical examinations
for proper treatment all these to be done and then only you will get result
hope you be all right soon
