What Is Healing Time After Getting Partial Thyroidectomy?

I had a subtotal/partial Thyroidectomy on 6 August 2010 due to a nodule and toxic endoneme. Ten days after the surgery I started on Euthyrox 50 (doctors orders) as the doctor said I must first get rid of the excess thyroid hormone due to the overactive thyroid. I have to return to him after 6 weeks to determine the correct dosage of medication.Some days I feel OK but other days I feel horrible again;sluggish no energy ,dizzy , etc
What I want to know is when will I be feeling better/normal again?
Do I now have an underactive thyroid since surgery?

There are 3 division of it.
normal thyroid
hyperthyroidism
hypothyroidism.
in hyper condition there are conditions like excessive sweating . palpitaions. weight loss etc and the opposite happens in hypo.. you l feel lethargic and low in energy.. so your doctor is trying to maintain that balance again as u were in hyper condition.. for that get ur levels checked again and maintain in the limit then u l be fine .. i hope it will help you in understanding this
