What is food poisoning?

after finishing a marriage party we reached home and in the night my 12yrs daughter suffered from vomiting and diarrohea, within two hours my wife also started vomiting and she also had diarrohea, latter it was my turn, we had to get admitted in a local hospital, most of the people who ate in the marriage also had suffered this gastric upset, doctors said it is food poisoning, what is this food poisoning? is there any poison added in the food?

Home Remedy if you are having Food poisioning at night: 1. Drink a herbal tea of mint, raspberry and camomile 2.Drink mint essense available as Pudin Hara or Amritdhara 3. Drink 2 tablespoons of undiluted apple cider 4. Time is also the best medicine, wait for the time if you will have good immune system you will recover soon.

Antibiotics may not be the reason for your loose stools. Loose stools take time to settle. It will settle in 4-5 days. Till htat time antibiotcs. Take antibiotics after food. In food poisoning you get vomiting as well as loose motions. So nothing to worry about it.

food poisoning does not mean poison in food .it means the fod is contaminated with bacteria which release toxins in our body n make us ill i.e we get tummyache diarrhoea vomiting etc
it needs to b treated with antibiotics n symptomatic medications
