What Is Enlarged Ovary With Cyst And Is It Dangerous?

Good morning :), My mother had hER trans vaginal ultrasound because she is having abdominal pains but according to her abdominal ultrasound there is nothing wrong so the doctor recommended that she should have a trans vaginal ultrasound and here is the result---The left ovary is cystically enlarged as measured, mostly solid with mixed echogenicities. Please help me to understand this, and is this alarming?.THANKYOU AND GODBLESS.

if ultrasound shows ovarian cyst with sold area with mixed echogenicity at ur mother's age that is alarming. it can be cancer of ovary.

for further confirmation ur mother's treating doctor will do tumor marker investigations.

so just for it and confirm the diagnosis.
