Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.
Vomiting can be caused by several causes. One important cause is gastroenteritis. A viral infection can be responsible for this. Food allergy can be a cause of vomiting. Addition of new food substances in diet, repeat occurance of vomiting on reintroduction of the food substance can indicate towards that. Intestinal obstruction is another cause. Some times children with cough may vomit after a feed. Regurgitation as that occurs in GERD can be a cause of vomiting. Symptomatic treatment and self medication is not really advised without arriving at a cause of the vomiting.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
