recently my mother in law age 76 is displaying some confusion and forgetfullness. early this week she fell out of bed and this is not the first time. she does not know how the fall has happened. other than that she seems fine. the only other thing is her right eye does not stay open-

In my opinion you should absolutely schedule a meeting with your neurologist and a brain MR
It seems like your mother in law is suffering first signs of dementia so better be careful
