What Is Causing Palpatations After TKR?

I had a tkr 2 months apart and have experienced heart palpatations after the second week of my last tkr. I m getting off the pain medications as the are driving me crazy. I d like to take aspirin as I took it before my tkr. I m going to call my doctor today as the palpatations seemed worse last night and this morning. Also, I have been feeling stress since my tkr.

Hello,

As palpitations are very uncommon I think if you are facing any pathology of the heart like hypertension it is good to have a word with the cardiac physician for the same. Also before and after the surgery, the surgeon would have taken utmost care of all the possible factors but on a safer side, it's better to have a consultation.

Please follow the knee replacement rehabilitation program after the TKR. It will help the operation go successful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
