What Is Causing Pain In Foot After Heavy Object Fell On It?

I had a 15lb brick like object fall on distal end of my 5th metatarsal 3wks ago. I can walk fine but it hurts to touch the top of my foot and it is still bruised and has a knot on the bone. I have some generalized throbbing pain throughout my foot. Is it possible it's just still bruised or should I have xray?

It is always betterto get an x ray done in such a case of doubt. There might be an underlying fracture and it is always good to rule out that
