What Is Causing Nose Bleeds? Taking Prescribed Medication For High BP, Cholesterol, Vitamin Supplements
My wife has had a couple of episodes of nose bleeds over last couple of days & once about three weeks ago. We are wondering what is causing it. She is being prescribed medication for high blood pressure which lis under control. She is also being prescribed cholesterol reducing medication. She is taking vitamin supplements of Krill, COQ-10 & Centrum.

As you mentioned that she is taking lipid lowering drugs, anti hypertensive drugs with vitamins .
In my opinion the cause of nasal bleeding may be.
1 Hyper tension , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination and examination blood just after nose bleeding.
In my many patients I have noted that high blood pressure breaks small blood vessels and this causes bleeding from nose.
2 May be lipid lowering agents as these causes bleeding from nose as blood becomes thin so increase bleeding and clotting time.Diagnosis can be confirmed by examination of bleeding and clotting time.
3 Any disease in nose , this is the least possible cause.
In my opinion deal according to above mentioned causes , 1, 2 .
