Hi,

Emergency pill contains high dose of hormones. The first bleeding you had was a withdrawal bleeding, when your body was cleared of these hormones. The emergency contraceptives postpone ovulation day. The second bleeding you had was possibly ovulation bleeding (you need to be careful to avoid pregnancy at this time) and your routine bleeding would start after 2 weeks of ovulation. Please don't worry, if it happens so. Emergency contraceptives do cause temporary irregularity in periods.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
