What is cause of persisting tightening pressure on the left side of my neck after taking flexeral in a female having carpal tunnel ?
HI. I m a 24 yr old female. I ve had a generally healthy past until recently. A few months ago I started experiencing a very uncomfortable tightening pressure on the left side of my neck. I went to a clinic that diagnosed it as a neck injury and gave me flexeral and told me it would be better in 3 weeks. Well it has only gotten worse and the flexeral did nothing. It s starting to worry me and it s keeping me up at night. I m also dealing with a few things that are probably unrelated but I will mention them : I m exhausted, I m having joint pain and body aches alot, I was recently diagnosed with carpal tunnel which is getting very bad. Not sure if it helps. Please help me.... I m so worried.

I am a 45 year old female and I had bilateral carpal tunnel release surgery 3 weeks ago. It may be helpful for you to know that when I was 18 I had a serious accident where I rolled several times in a vehicle resulting in multiple fractures from my waist up in my ribs, shoulder bones as well as crushing my spine at T4 & T5. At my last MRI approximately 6 plus years ago, an orthopedic physician said all looked well and it was not necessary to be treated for these injuries ever again. The orthopedic surgeon who treated me initially and then several years following the accident said that it would be crucial to have xrays and or an MRI every 5 years for the rest of my life so that the curvature of my spine could be measured to determine if it have moved and to be able to watch for deterioration.Anyway, since the bilateral release surgery I ve experienced intense aching in my elbows and triceps as well as numbness and tingling in my left pinky. I thought this might be a result from the nerves reacting to the surgery but the aching is so intense like I have the flu. Any thoughts?
Hi, I had carpal tunnel release and ganglion cyst removal surgery on my left hand, this was done on 3/1/17. It has been 2 weeks and I m having more pain which is in the palm of my hand, my thumb and the pinky side of my hand up my arm. The incision for the carpal tunnel was not in my palm but at the base of my hand on the wrist off center. I also have bruising in the palm of my hand and on my forearm, there s also two lumps (one above, one below) the carpal tunnel incision. I m worried that something is wrong due to the pain and bruising. I ve had CTR on my right hand 4years ago by a different surgeon and I was not in this much pain and the incision was in my palm of my hand. Is this normal?
I had Neck surgery June 2, 2014 due to pinching of C8 nerve bundle and ulnar nerve challenges on the right arm and hand. My right hand continues to be numb on the lift side of the palm, small finger, and half of the ring finger. Not too surprising as carpal tunnel developing is an issue. What is new is a tearing sensation on the upper back of my left shoulder. My right side feels stronger from shoulder to elbow. No nerve pain under right shoulder blade. Just concerned about left shoulder or just give it time? My next appointment with surgeon s PA is 6/23/2014.
