What Is A Safe Dosage Of Lisinopril ?

is it safe to cut lisinopril in half. My dr ordered 10 mg and I want to just take a small first dose. I my pressure runs ave 134 over 80. Women 146 lbs 5 4

hi Dfazny, welcome to H.C.M.Forum. lisinopril is a safe anti hypertensive drug . the dose is indipendent upon the person to person. your doctor judged the dose depending upon your clinical findings, if it happen to cause hypotension him self will reduce the dose . but one important thing is it is not pregnancy category drug. thank you.
