What Is Pexep CR Prescribed For?

my physician has prescribed PEXEP CR-12.5 . sir i want to know about the medicine . on particular day i was suffering from heat wave and the sun ex poser. in the evening i was feeling some problem feverish and BP problem bp was 84/120 and no fever. i am 58 yrs old.

I can understand your concern. Paxep CR is Paroxetine and the drug is a SSRI anti depressant and anti anxiety drug. The drug is one of commonly used drugs in depression, panic disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders and a number of other psychiatric conditions. When the drug is started for first few days individuals may develop restlessness, anxiety, insomnia etc symptoms. Please consult your psychiatrist if you develop any symptoms while on this drug.
