Welcome to Healthcare Magic
PTA is Pure Tone Audiometry. It is a test done using headphones to test the range of frequencies which can be heard by each ear and to tell if the hearing loss if present, is caused by block in ear apparatus or damage to the nerves in the ear or both. It is important for deciding treatment. Cost depends from centre to centre but is not expensive.
