ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding your nasal disease deviated nasal septum and it's treatment (surgery).

I would like to say that deviated nasal septum is an anatomical defect in nasal septum and this defect may be in cartilagenous portion of septum or in both cartilagenous and bony. This septal deviation is always correcter by operation i.e. SEPTOPLASTY. this is an operation carried out through your nostrils and may be done under local / general anaesthesia. You have asked about success of operation, so I would like to say it is usually successful and success depends on surgical skill of surgeon, surgical conditions and your luck.

Regards.
