What Helps With Ear Ache And Cold In Children?
My daughter is nearly 7 years old and is very ill. Her ear ached earlier and she is shivering cold but when I touch her she isn t that bad, a little less than warm. I ve given her calpol and antibiotics but they are not helping. I need you to tell me what can I give her and what to do? Please and thank you this has been going on for one or two days.

It seems your daughter has developed lnfection of her middle ear.
As majority of these infections are viral in nature antibiotics are of not much use.
These infections are treated sympatomatically means medicines for fever and pain (crocin +_ brufen) and decongestents and nasal drops for cold.
If symptoms show improvement with the above regime, no other medicines or test is eequired.
In case pain worsens or fever persists an opinion by an ENT is a wise option.
