What Harm Can Direct Exposure Of Optiray During Cat Scan Cause To Eye?
I had a cat scan yesterday and the needle for the contrast seems to been inserted improperly. when the dye was started the pressure exploded and the Optiray 329 burst and went over my face and into my eye. The eye was flushed over 3 hours later. at that time the eye felt numb and very dry. I had asked for a flush when it happened.... was told not needed.... didn't have a flush....
I am concerned as was told it could cause no problems.... I believe this is a lie as I am diabetic and cannot take metformin for 4 days so as not to cause kidney damage. I believe eye is more delicate. What can I do

it will act as irritant and to some extent corrosive. flushing is the only remedy if allergic reaction develop then can apply cromal eye drop 3times daily. .
