What Form Of Vitamin B12 Can Person With Cobalt Allergy Take?

I am scheduled for gastric bypass in a couple weeks. Recently, in reading about Vit. B12 replacement post op I saw that persons allergic to cobalt should not take B12. I do have a cobalt alleregy along with nickel and ethyl acrylate. Do you know if there is any form of B12 that can be taken in this situation.

Hello,
Welcome to HCM
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
You can take B12 from natural sources mainly non vegetarian food,
including fish and shellfish, meat (especially liver), poultry, eggs, milk, and milk product.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
