What Food Can Be Given After A Prostate Biopsy?

Husband has taken 2 tablets earlier in the day. He had a prostate biopsy 2:30-3:00 Thursday afternoon. Had a headache start around 7:00pm. He tried oatmeal due to hunger around 2:15 am (Friday). He threw it up. Is it OK to just treat by not taking pill any more & let his tummy rest? What about the hunger? Thank you. Will call his doctor asap in the morning. Ann Hawkins, Livingston, TX

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Prostate biopsy will not cause vomiting and there is no restriction to any type of food item after biopsy.
The headache can be due to any other cause.
Vomiting can be due to indigestion or any other cause but the prostatic biopsy procedure will not cause all these symptoms.
You need to consult your doctor for these complaints.

Thanks and take care
