What Else Can Lower My BP ?

I took myself off high blood pressure meds because of so many side effects...have you ? And other then loosing weight and no salt what else can lower my blood pressure ?

I also have alot of side effects from blood pressure medicine, i also have taken myself off w/my doctors permission since I am borderline high. Some of my side effects are leg weakness and cramping, cough. The leg pain is the worst it actually made me walk crippled. I am now trying another one this will be my 5 or 6th. what side effects did you experience?
