What Does Yolk Sac Is Not Visualised Mean In An Ultrasound Report?
Good morning doctor i am 6 weeks pregnant but my ultra scan shows that the yolk sac is not visualised and heartbeat is not formed and now i see very little spotting my soctor suggested me to take sustain or pregestron dep injection what should i do?

Usually in a nornal healthy pregnancy yolk sac appears by 5 weeks and cardiac activity by 6 weeks. But there is a concept called delayed conception.. So u need to take progesterone to maintain ur pregnancy and repeat a scan after 2 weeks to see for yolk sac and cardiac activity. Best wishes to get a healthy pregnancy..
