What Does Yellow Discharge From The Nipples Indicate?

I am a 35 year old female and had green yellow discharge coming from both nipples when I squeezed my breasts. It felt like they were full and i was having let down like when breast feeding years prior. Np put me on 500mg of keflex every six hours for seven days. She did a swab of the discharhe and ordered a mamogram and ultrasound of breasts. Results for swab are rare polymorphonuclear cells seen. And rare gram positive cocci. Commensal flora. My son is 6 and i stopped nursing him when he was around 3 years old.

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1)Do a clinical examination by your Doctor and do few tests like [prolactin, TSH, pregnancy test, & Mammography]to confirm it.

2)Do take prescribed medications as per clinical findings only.

Do follow few lifestyle modifications like this -

1)Don't touch your nipples during sexual activity

2)Avoid performing breast self-exams and manipulating your nipples more frequently than once a month

3)Wear clothing that minimizes friction between the fabric and your nipples
