What Does Vaginal Discharge With Blood In It Indicate?

Hi so I have been off birth control pills for two months now and last month I started my period on March 20 stopped 3 days later then the next day had a glob of egg white stretchy cervical mucus that had a streaks of blood in it. This month got my period on april 13 stopped april 17 and had a glob of mucus with streaks of blood again on april 19 am I ovulating already so soon or what is going on ive been waiting 6 yrs to start a family and would very much like to know if I need to change something to get pregnant

Hello,

Discharge of mucus is quite normal among fertile women. Some experiences it before periods and some after periods. In your case, it’s associated with blood streaks because you are experiencing it post periods. Ovulation starts from the 12th day of periods up to 18th day from which 17th day is more fertile. In the rest of the days, there are very fewer chances of getting pregnant. If you want to conceive then I suggest you try it in the days I mentioned above.
