my uterus is anteverted, mildly bulky in size and shows a small intramural iso- echoic lesion measuring 20 18 mms in size within the anterior wall of the uterus. there is a small central area of fluid component seen as anechoic area of 7-8mms. please tell me what does it mean ?
You are most likely having a fibroid in the anterior wall of uterus which measures 20 mm in diameter. This is small in size and needs to be observed. Please repeat ultrasound scan after 3 months and consult your gynecologist for treatment. Surgery is not required at the moment.
