What Does Ultrasonography Regarding Gallbladder Indicate?

my mother age 52,while routine check up of ultrasonography , the report says a few calculi of varying sizes in the lumen of the gallbladder. a calculus measuring13*10mm(approx) is seen impacted in the neck of gallbladder; another calculus measuring 19*12mm(approx) noted. no peri-cholecystic edema noted at scan- chronic cholelithiasis. what does it mean? would u prescribe any treatment? no BP,Sugar

thank you for posting query at HCM

noted that gall stones were found during routine ultrasonography in your mother.
however, your mother has no symptoms nor she suffered from any symptoms previously.

"Asymptomatic gallstones" do not require any treatment.
hopefully she will lead a healthy life and symptoms of gall stones would not occur.
