What Does Twitching On Eyelids With Pins And Needles On Lips And Feet Suggest?

I have had a twitch on and off beneath my one eye for almost a year. Now it s more a twitching of the lids of both eyes and I also have a vague sense of pins and needles on my lip and at times (lasting less than 15 seconds) on the soles of my feet. No new drugs, meds, I eat healthily but probably do not take in enough calories. Just began a multivitamin a couple of days ago, even though that s just expensive pee . . . What do you suppose it is? No other medical problems other than arthritis which rarely bothers me. I m 58 years old.

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
twitching of eyelids is a harmless condition which could be due to nerve weakness..No need to worry about that..
Pins and needles sensation can be due to diabetic neuropathy or nerve compression..
Get tested for diabetes if not done before.
As you have already started taking multivitamins no need to worry..
Consult your physician for further information..
Take care..
