What Does This Uterus Scan Result During Premenopause Indicate?
My wife aged 37 is suffer from premenopause. In scan report the uterus size is 88 x 46.5 x 56mm and endometrium size is 15.6mm Gynaecologist advised to take endometrial biopsy.I could not understand it. please explain.My wife has also pelvic pain severely.

Endometrial biopsy is a diagnostic procedure when a piece of inner linings of uterus (endometrium) is taken out and examined under microscope to know the cause of pathology and the increased thickness of endometrium. In addition to that in my view ultra-sonography of pelvis / MRI to be followed if needful to know about uterus size itself.
