What Does This Urine Routine Report Indicate?
hi I am Zainab and I have a 5 month baby girl. 1 month before she was diagnosed with E coli infection and doctor has prescribed her 10 days of Amycacin injection. after completing the dose she was ok. but again her urine routine report is not normal ... having 3-4 pus cell and 7-8 epithelial cells. culture report is awaited. I an really worried that why she is getting infected every time. Last time she was having very high fever with colic pain specially during nights.this time only reduced urination and feeding.

She may not be infected again. Having more epithelial cells than pus cells often indicates that it was not a very clean urine sample. The urine culture will most likely not show an infection, but with her history it is best to check it.
