What Does This Urine Culture Test Report Indicate?
Hi. My son had his urine culture test and the report says GRAM STAIN - 2-4 Pus cells, occasional epithelial cells and Gram negative bacilli were seen. ISOLATE-1 - Escherichia coli, Colony Count 1,00,000/ml. What does it mean? My son does not have or feel any complications while urination or no pain in his bladder area.
Presence of the E coli in the urine culture suggests urinary tract infections. Consult the urologist and doctor will give following advises: Tablet septran Tablet nitrozolium, tablet cital Syrup cital Drink plenty of water and juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple. Maintain proper pelvic hygiene Hope this may help you
Contact HCM for further health query Best regards Dr. Sagar
