What Does This Ultrasound Test Result During Pregnancy Indicate?

I had ultrasound yesterday....below are impression which are as follows: 1. Single intrauterine pregnancy of 5 weeks of gestational age. 2. Focal hypoechoic area measring apprx. 7x5mm, is sen adjacent to the the gestation sac placenta in its inferior aspect- likely to represent Sun chorionic hematoma. 3. Bilateral adnexal regions are mildly obscured. 4. No free fluids noted in pelvis

Thanks for thequery.I understand your concern.
The Usg scan shows a shadow of blood clot (subchorionic hemorrhage..bleeding outside the gestational sac).. which can be due to trauma/less progesterone hormone..which is essential for continuation of pregnancy.
the position of gestational sac & pregnancy can be determined after a repeat scan after 15 days.
For time being.. you should sek advise of your treating doctor.. who will start progesterone suppliment. take it as advised.take bed rest with hope of good usg report after 2 weeks.
