What does this ultrasound report signify?

Hi - In the ultrasound report, there is statement by the radiologist saying GB is distended and is a single calculus in the lumen of gall bladder measuring 14.9 mm Please guide me on the meaning of the above. Advise whether surgery is needed. Or are there any medicines to treat it non-invasive.

Radiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Cholecystectomy(surgical removal of gall bladder)is the definitive treatment of gall bladder calculus.

Gall stones are prone to infection and it may cause cancer in long term.
So,I suggest for cholecystectomy.
