What Does This Ultrasound Report Of The Liver Indicate?

I have had a ultra sound of my liver. The report is separated cyst in the left hepatic lobe 10 x 7x12 mm Is this a fatty liver or do I need to worry about it. It is a mildly echogenic hepatic parenchyma including steatosis ;and hepatocellular disease The bile cult measures 7.6mm no intrahepatic dual dilation , just wondering if I need to proceed with more tests at this time.

Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Hi,

These reports indicate borderline status to fatty liver or gall bladder obstruction. Kindly take these following measures.
1. reduce fat foods, reduce carbohydrates, use more vegetables, fruits, salads, stop smoking, stop alcohol in case you consume.
2. exercise, weight reduction if your BMI is high
3. in case of symptoms like pain abdomen, yellowish discoloration of skin/ eyes, excessive and sudden weight loss, bloody stools these are red flag signs. Remember to visit the hospital.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anusha Molugu,
