What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

hi, I had an ultra sound today that shows groups of swollen lymph nodes in my lower neck near thyroid. they have been their for more than several months and more keep coming larger and larger. The ultrasound confirmed just that. Now I am onto a cat scan. I am a 13 year remission breast cancer. what are reasons for swollen groups of lymph nodes. infection is ruled out. lymphoma is my fear, as it runs in the family.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, with history of malignancy such lymph node swelling may be likely but it should be clinically palpable else sonography image may not be taken as granted, so better to confirm this with the clinical examination and related symptoms, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
