Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
sir, My Ultrasonography report shows mild prostatomegaly with insignificient pvrv. - The prostate gland is normal in texture with smooth outline and measured 4.9 cms. 4.4 cms 3.7 cms - Estimated prostatic weight is 43 grms. - Post void urine volume is insignificient .
The prostate is a male organ that can enlarge with age (especially after 50 years of age, but at times can even earlier). Your ultrasound report shows mild enlargement of the prostate, and no urine remaining after voiding (passing urine), this indicates healthy evacuation of your urine meaning that your prostate is not causing any retention of urine. Reports are all normal and fine sir.
Best wishes.
