HI, I have done a basic text of semen analysis. Just want to check is the report is normal or abnormal and suggest me if any treatment or improvement in diet required. Result mentioned below Vol. 2ml color whitish liquefaction time 30 min count 64 m/m motility % active 40 sluggish 20 non motile 40 Morphology Nor. 70% Abnor. 30% Pus Cell 2-3 /HPF
Hi, Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your semen analysis report and the following inferences can be drawn from it. 1. Semen volume is adequate. 2. Color and liquification time is normal. 3. Sperm count is normal. 4. Sperm morphology is good with normal forms being 70%. 5. Sperm motility is average with only 40% actively motile. Hence the fertility factor appears to be moderate. You can take medications like l-Carnitine, alpha-lipoic acid, CoQ10, Vitamin E and Vitamin C for a month and check for improvement. If it has improved, then you can continue them for few more months. All the best.
