General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for your query.

Your report indicated that your vasectomy was a success.
However if it has been less than 4 months since your vasectomy, you will need a repeat analysis after 2 weeks and at 1year post vasectomy to guarantee that the vasectomy was a success.

2 to 3 pus cells is OK. However 10-15 pus cells in the presence of bacteria points to an infection of the urinary tract. Do you have any burning sensation, increased frequency fever or lower abdominal discomfort? If yes, you may need prescription antibiotics.

I recommend seeing your urologist and in the mean time, have plenty of water, keep the genital area clean and dry.
If asymptomatic, just keep hydrated and do a urine analysis to see if it still persists. If yes, a culture and sensitivity test of the urine to detect the organism causing it may be required.
Hope this helps, please feel free to get back to us if you need any clarification.
Wish you good health
