What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

Sir, Following are results of my Semen analysis. Please let me know are theses values are normal or I have to take sone medications are treatments. I have married before 5 years and still don t have a baby. Two times my wife got pregnent but abortion has been occured within short period of pregnency. Pelease advise Results: Colour: Grayish White Volume: 3.5 ml Reaction: Alkaline Vsicosity: Normal Progressively Motile: 55% Non Progessively Motile: 30% Non Motile: 15% Total Count: 40 millions/cc Morphology Results: Normal: 85% abnormal: 15% Pus Cells: 8-10/hpf R.B.C: Nil Epithellel Cells: 0-1/hpf Spermatogenic Cells: Nil

The fact that your wife, despite the abortion, got pregnant, shows that you do not have any infertility issue. The semen analysis parameters responsible for the fertility are all normal, beginning with motility(>50% with forward movement), concentration (>20 million sperm/ml), volume (>2.0 ml) and morphology(>15% normal forms). The values I put in the brackets are considered as normal range of parameters.
One thing I would like to highlight is that your semen analyse shows a pattern of infection. This is supported by the alkaline pH and pus cells.
I recommend you to seek consult with your local doctor to take an appropriate treatment for the infection, because it may lead to fertility disorders.
